Installation Procedure

Install NEW gaskets (1 and 2) on the charge air cooler cover.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the charge air cooler cover (2) and the charge air cooler bolts (1). Hand tighten the bolts.

NOTE:

Tighten the charge air cooler bolts in the sequence shown.

Tighten the charge air cooler bolts (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Position the right charge air cooler inlet air tube and install the bolts (1). Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement - Right Side .

Position the left charge air cooler inlet air tube and install the bolts (1). Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement - Left Side .

Connect electrical connector (1)

Connect vacuum line (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Install the supercharger water manifold. Refer to Supercharger Water Manifold Replacement .
Install the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum tank. Refer to Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Tank Replacement .
