Compressor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement . Remove the suction hose. Refer to Suction Hose Replacement . Remove the discharge hose. Refer to Discharge Hose Replacement (LLT) or Discharge Hose Replacement (LY7) . If you are replacing the compressor, balance the compressor oil. Refer to Compressor Oil Balancing . Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
1	Compressor Bolt (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 50 N.m (36 lb ft)

Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .

Compressor Bolt (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 50 N.m (36 lb ft)
