Rear Compartment Lid Lower Molding Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Open the rear compartment lid. Remove the two rear license plate lamps. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement . Remove the rear compartment lid interior trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	Rear Compartment Lid Lower Trim Nut (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 7 N.m (62 lb in)
2	License Plate Pocket Screw (Qty: 2) Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Pocket Screw (Qty: 2) Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
4	(W-clip) Retainer (Qty: 2) Procedure Release the retainers from inside the rear compartment lid. Disengage the retainers by compressing the wings and pushing outward from the rear compartment lid. Ensure the foam gaskets are in place prior to securing the (W-clip) retainers. Close the rear compartment lid before applying pressure to the outer retainers.
5	Rear Lamp Electrical Connector Tip: Disengage the electrical harness grommet from the rear compartment lid.
6	Rear Compartment Lid Lower Trim Tip: Transfer the parts as needed.
