Check Gauges Indicator Always On

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check engine temperature gauge. If gauge indicates hot, go to ENGINE TEMPERATURE GAUGE ALWAYS INDICATES HOT  . If gauge does not indicate hot, go to next step.
  2. Start engine. Check engine oil pressure gauge. If gauge indicates 5 psi (0.4 kg/cm2 ) or less, go to ENGINE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE ALWAYS INDICATES LOW  . If gauge does not indicate low oil pressure, and CHECK GAUGES indicator is on, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
