Crankcase Vent Oil Separator: Installation

NOTE:
Do not lubricate the O-ring seal or gasket prior to installation.
- Install the new crankcase vent oil separator, then install and tighten the crankcase vent oil separator bolts in the sequence shown.
Torque: Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 2: 45 deg.

NOTE: The quick connections must be installed onto the tube end along the centerline. The assembly is complete when the tube end bottoms out on the connector with an audible click-snap feel. Correct assembly should be verified by pulling back on the quick connection end.
Connect the crankcase vent oil separator outlet hose to the intake manifold.
- Install the fuel filter and bracket assembly, then install and tighten the fuel filter and bracket assembly bolts.
Torque: Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) | Stage 2: 45 deg.
- Install and tighten the new fuel injection pump supply tube assembly bracket bolt in the following 2 stages.
Torque: Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 2: 45 deg.
- Install and tighten the new left fuel supply tube bolts in the following 2 stages.
Torque: Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 2: 45 deg.
- Connect the fuel filter injector return tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Connect the fuel filter inlet tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
.
- Install the fuel filter outlet tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Install the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) intake pipe. Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Intake Pipe .
- Connect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- Bleed the fuel system. Refer to: Fuel System Bleeding .
