Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TR sensor provides a fixed frequency duty cycle to the PCM for each manual control lever positions (PARK, REVERSE, NEUTRAL, DRIVE and LOW). The PCM uses the TR sensor signal for LPC, shift scheduling and TCC operation. The PCM transmits TR data on the High Speed (HS) CAN to the BCM for engine start and reverse lamp operation.
