Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
- Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- Remove the engine appearance cover.

NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel lines after releasing the fuel system pressure. Wrap the FRP sensor with a shop towel to absorb any residual fuel during the loosening of the FRP sensor.
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the FRP sensor.
Torque
: 24 lb.ft (32.5 Nm)
