    • Check the vehicle service history for recent service actions related to the IPC  or the FCDIM  module.

Have there been any recent service actions with either module?

    • Yes  : CARRY out a manual PMI  on the applicable module using As-Built data.
    • No  : GO to AV3
  3. AV3 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform a network test.

Does the FCDIM pass the network test?

    • Yes  : GO to AV4
    • No  : Refer to the appropriate Information and Entertainment Systems article for the procedure.
  4. AV4 PERFORM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC  self-test.

Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

  5. AV5 PERFORM THE FCDIM (FRONT CONTROL/DISPLAY INTERFACE MODULE) SELF-TEST
    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the FCDIM  module self-test.

Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

    • Yes  : Refer to the appropriate Information and Entertainment Systems article for the procedure.
    • No  : GO to AV6
