(1) Only engine performance-related DTCs that may affect transmission operation are listed. For complete list of engine performance-related DTCs, see appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
(2) Rerun RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (QUICK TEST) .
(3) Fault code can be set by other non-electronic-related transmission hardware condition.
(4) See appropriate symptom in SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS (ELECTRONIC)  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
(5) Output circuit check, generated ONLY by electrical conditions.
(6) Rerun to RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (QUICK TEST)  at appropriate TP sensor position per engine application. See ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS - TRUCKS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
(7) Rerun RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (QUICK TEST)  and activate switch.
(8) Warm vehicle to normal operating temperature and rerun RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (QUICK TEST) . If DTC resets, go to Test B .
