Electric Coolant Pump - HV Coolant Heater: Notes

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the side step (if equipped). Refer to STEP, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN BEV .
  3. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING - LOW TEMP/BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM  .
  4. Disconnect the coolant pump quick-connect fittings.

    1 - Electric Coolant Pump - HV Cabin Coolant Heater
    2 - Coolant Pump Clamp Bolt
    3 - Coolant Hose Quick-Connect Fittings
    4 - Electric Coolant Pump - HV Battery Coolant Heater
    5 - Coolant Pump
  5. Disconnect the coolant pump wire harness connectors.
  6. Remove the wiring harness retainers from the coolant pump bracket.
  7. Remove the bolt that secures the coolant pump to the bracket and remove the coolant pump.
  8. If necessary to remove the coolant pump bracket, remove both coolant pumps then remove the bracket fasteners and bracket.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
