Shaft, Drive, Front: Installation
NOTE:
Clean all driveshaft bolts and apply Mopar® Lock AND Seal Adhesive or equivalent to the threads before installation.
- Install driveshaft (1) between companion flanges.
- Align marks on the companion flanges with the marks on the joints.
- Install bolts to the transfer case flange and tighten bolts in a star pattern to specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install bolts to the axle flange and tighten bolts in a star pattern to specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install transmission crossmember and remove jack stand. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, TRANSMISSION, INSTALLATION .
- If equipped, install skid plates. Refer to REMOVAL .
