Gearshift Lever - Instrument Panel Mounted Removal

  1. Remove the instrument panel bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the steering column shroud gap hider screw (1).

  4. Disconnect the gearshift lever electrical connector (1).

  5. Remove the gearshift lever screw (1).
  6. Pull the gearshift lever and wiring through the steering wheel gap hider and remove the gearshift lever from the vehicle.
