Bezel, Instrument Cluster: Removal

STANDARD MODEL
- Lower the steering column to the lowest position.
- Using a trim stick or equivalent, FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE (1-7) and carefully pry the instrument cluster bezel (8) loose and remove.
PURSUIT MODEL
- Remove the four screws (1), then the spacer plate (2).
- Remove the eight screws (3), then position the front plate (4) aside.
- Remove the HVAC controls (1). Pull by hand at the bottom and use a trim stick to release the top retainers.NOTE:
The HVAC controls has six retainers and is very difficult to release, take care to remove it evenly so the retainers do not get damaged.
- This is the backside of the HVAC controls (2), to show the six retainer (1) locations.
- Engage the vehicles parking brake.
- Lower the steering column (1) to the lowest position, and lower the gear shifter (2).
- Using a trim stick or equivalent, start at the bottom of the instrument cluster bezel (3) and remove.
