Bezel, Instrument Cluster: Removal

STANDARD MODEL

1. Lower the steering column to the lowest position.
2. Using a trim stick or equivalent, FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE (1-7) and carefully pry the instrument cluster bezel (8) loose and remove.

PURSUIT MODEL

1. Remove the four screws (1), then the spacer plate (2).
2. Remove the eight screws (3), then position the front plate (4) aside.

3. Remove the HVAC controls (1). Pull by hand at the bottom and use a trim stick to release the top retainers.
   NOTE:

   The HVAC controls has six retainers and is very difficult to release, take care to remove it evenly so the retainers do not get damaged.

4. This is the backside of the HVAC controls (2), to show the six retainer (1) locations.

5. Engage the vehicles parking brake.
6. Lower the steering column (1) to the lowest position, and lower the gear shifter (2).
7. Using a trim stick or equivalent, start at the bottom of the instrument cluster bezel (3) and remove.
