Section 63 (Door - Front): Door: Adjustments: Up/Down

NOTE: Up/down door adjustment is done by loosening the hinge to cowl fasteners at both hinges. Then move the door to the correct position.
  1. Remove the latch striker. (Refer to BODY/DOOR-FRONT/LATCH STRIKER-REMOVAL  )
  2. Support door on a suitable lifting device.
  3. Loosen hinge to cowl fasteners at both hinges. (Figure )
  4. Move the door to the correct up/down position. (Refer to SPECIFICATIONS -- GAP AND FLUSH )
  5. Tighten the hinge to cowl fasteners to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
  6. Install the latch striker. (Refer to BODY/DOOR-FRONT/LATCH STRIKER-INSTALLATION  )
