Test 45C - Bus Communication With Pcm

NOTE: Perform TEST 45A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A after each repair.

Remove jumper wire from PCM connector. Backprobe jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 13 on Body Control Module (BCM) 14-pin connector. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, replace BCM. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open CCD BUS (-) circuit.
