Test 45B - Bus Communication With Pcm
NOTE:
Perform TEST 45A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
Remove jumper wire from PCM connector. Backprobe jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 5 on Body Control Module (BCM) 14-pin connector. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, replace BCM. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open CCD BUS (+) circuit.
