Installation Procedure

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe (2) @ Vehicle - Install

  2. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure

    Front Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install

  4. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Front Brake Hose (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Remove the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.

  6. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  7. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Battery Tray Bracket (3) - Install

  9. Battery Tray Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  10. Battery Tray Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  11. Connect any harness retainers to the battery tray bracket.

    Battery Tray (2) - Install

  13. Battery Tray Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  14. Connect any harness retainers attached to the battery tray.

    Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Install

    Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) @ Air Cleaner Assembly (3) - Install

  17. Air Cleaner Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install

  19. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Filter Hose (1) @ Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Install

    Intake Air Duct (1) - Install

    Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Battery (1) - Install

    Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install

  25. Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Install

  27. Battery Hold Down Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  28. Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Install

  30. Engage the retaining tabs.
  31. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Body Wiring Harness (6) - Install

  33. Engine Wiring Harness (5) - Install
  34. Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install
  35. Body Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (3) - Tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  36. Engine Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  37. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  40. Engage the retaining tabs.
  41. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  42. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  43. Lower the vehicle.
  44. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
