Installation Procedure

    Brake Master Cylinder (3) - Install

  2. Brake Master Cylinder Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  3. Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Brake and Accelerator Pedal Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Electrical Connector (2) @ Electronic Brake Control Module (2) - Connect

  7. Electrical Connector (1) @ Brake Fluid Level Sensor (2) - Disconnect

    Brake Pedal Push Rod Retainer (1) @ Brake Pedal Push Rod (3) - Install NEW

  9. Brake Pedal Push Rod (3) @ Brake Pedal (2) - Connect

    Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side (2) - Install

  11. Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install

    Battery Tray Bracket (3) - Install

  13. Battery Tray Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  14. Battery Tray Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  15. Connect any harness retainers to the battery tray bracket.

    Battery Tray (2) - Install

  17. Battery Tray Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  18. Connect any harness retainers attached to the battery tray.

    Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Install

    Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) @ Air Cleaner Assembly (3) - Install

  21. Air Cleaner Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install

  23. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Filter Hose (1) @ Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Install

    Intake Air Duct (1) - Install

    Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Battery (1) - Install

    Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install

  29. Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Install

  31. Battery Hold Down Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  32. Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Install

  34. Engage the retaining tabs.
  35. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Body Wiring Harness (6) - Install

  37. Engine Wiring Harness (5) - Install
  38. Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install
  39. Body Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (3) - Tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  40. Engine Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  41. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  44. Engage the retaining tabs.
  45. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  46. Program the electronic brake control module. Control Module References
  47. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  48. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling 
  49. Connect the scan tool and perform the brake pressure test.
