DT-8001 Dial Indicator

Using DT-8001 Dial Indicator (1), set up the measurement as shown.
1-3-5-6-7-8-9 Clutch Plate (2) -Selective - Measure
Zero out the DT-8001 Dial Indicator (1), then lift the clutch plate stack upwards and record the measurement.
Repeat the measurement every 90 degrees from the measurement in step 3, completing 4 measurements.
Find the average of these four measurements from step 2 and step 3. Record this as the clutch travel. Use this number to find the correct clutch backing plate. 1-3-5-6-7-8-9 Clutch Backing Plate Specifications , or 1-3-5-6-7-8-9 Clutch Backing Plate Specifications (10L60)
