Removal Procedure

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

   Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose (1) - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement

   Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Remove [4x] - Intake Manifold Removal

    Intake Manifold Seal (4) - Remove and DISCARD [3x]

11. Intake Manifold (2) - Remove
12. Transfer components as necessary. Intake Manifold Disassemble 
13. Clean and inspect Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection 

Installation Procedure

1. Transfer components as necessary. Intake Manifold Assemble

   Intake Manifold Seal (4) - Install NEW [3x]

NOTE:

Check that the locating pins (1, 3) sit correct in their hole.

   Intake Manifold Bolt - Install [4x]

CAUTION:

Fastener Caution

5. Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Tighten in sequence [5x]
   1. First Pass: 7 N.m (62 lb in)
   2. Final Pass: 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
6. Intake Air Pressure and Temperature Sensor Connector - Connect
7. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Connector - Connect
