Powertrain Mount Balancing

- Air Cleaner Assembly - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
- Engine Support Fixture - Install - Engine Support Fixture
- Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Transmission Mount Bracket Bolt (1) - Loosen
Front Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1) - Loosen
- Lower the vehicle.
Transmission Mount Bolt (3) - Loosen [4x]
Engine Mount Fastener (2) - Loosen [3x]
- Adjust the engine support fixture in order to allow a 1/8 inch gap between the mount and bracket.
Transmission Mount Bolt (3) - Tighten [4x] - Transmission Mount Replacement (Left)
Engine Mount Fastener (2) - Tighten [3x] - Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side
- Engine Support Fixture - Remove - Engine Support Fixture
- Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.
- Raise the vehicle.
Front Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1) - Tighten - Transmission Front Mount Replacement
Transmission Mount Bracket Bolt (1) - Tighten - Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (All Wheel Drive) , or Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Air Cleaner Assembly - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
