Removal Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to HVAC Module Drain Tube Caution .

    Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module (1) - Remove - Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Removal and Installation

    Heater And Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Seal (1) - Remove [2x]

  3. Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Screw (2) - Remove

    Unlatch and rotate the heater core tube bracket (1) up.

  5. Heater Core (2) - Remove

    Remove the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module insulator (1) from the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module.

  7. Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Screw (2) - Remove [2x]

    Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Remove

  9. Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Right Side (2) - Remove

    Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Screw (1) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Wiring Harness - Disconnect as necessary

  12. Unlatch the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower case (1) from the air conditioning evaporator case indicated by the arrows.

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve (1) - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement 

  14. Unlatch the air conditioning evaporator case (2) from the heater and air conditioning evaporator case indicated by the arrows.

    Unlatch the air conditioning evaporator case (1) from the heater and air conditioning evaporator case indicated by the arrows.

    Separate the air conditioning evaporator case (1) from the heater and air conditioning evaporator case (2).

  17. Transfer components as necessary.
