Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
  2. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Inlet Pipe - Remove - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement
  3. Water Pump Inlet Pipe - Remove - Water Pump Inlet Pipe Replacement (LKN) 
  4. Water Pump Belt - Remove - Water Pump Belt Replacement

    Radiator Outlet Hose Retainer (1) - Disengage

  6. Radiator Outlet Hose (2) - Disconnect
  7. Disconnect the thermostat electrical connector. (3)
  8. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (4) - Disconnect

    Engine Oil Cooler Housing Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  10. Engine Oil Cooler Housing (2) - Remove
  11. Engine Oil Cooler Housing Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
