Preliminary Procedures Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement . Remove the instrument panel trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement . Remove the instrument panel center trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Compartment Procedure Release the tabs to the compartment door to access the fasteners.
2	Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Compartment Bolt (Qty: 7) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
3	Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Procedure Remove the data link fasteners (Qty: 2) and the data link from the bolster and reposition as necessary.
