Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the passenger instrument panel lower trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Driver Side Lower) Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Passenger Side Lower) .
  3. Remove the front floor console front compartment. Refer to Front Floor Console Front Compartment Replacement (Without K4C) Front Floor Console Front Compartment Replacement (With K4C) .
1 Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .
2 Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad

Procedures

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainers securing the trim pad to the instrument panel assembly.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  3. Transfer all necessary components.
