Installation Procedure
Brake Pedal (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Clutch Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
Clutch Master Cylinder Clip (1) - Connect
Clutch Master Cylinder Bolt (1) - Install [2x]
Clutch Master Cylinder Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 13 N.m (115 lb in)
Brake and Clutch Pedal Assembly (1) - Install
Brake Pedal Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
Power Vacuum Brake Booster Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
Hydraulic Clutch Hose/Pipe (2)@Clutch Master Cylinder - Connect - Hydraulic Clutch Hose/Pipe Replacement (M13) , or Hydraulic Clutch Hose/Pipe Replacement (MJK, MM6)
Clutch Master Cylinder Feed Hose Grommet (1) - Secure
Brake Pedal Pushrod Retainer (1) - Install NEW
- NOTE:
Ensure the brake pedal pushrod retainer is fully seated in the power vacuum brake booster pushrod.
Brake Pedal (1) - Secure
- Reposition the electrical harness to the brake pedal and secure the harness retainers.
- Connect the clutch pedal position sensor electrical connector.
Brake Pedal Position Sensor (1) - Install - Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Replacement
- Body Control Module Bracket - Install - Body Control Module Bracket Replacement
Clutch Master Cylinder Feed Hose (1) - Connect
- Fill the master cylinder reservoir. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
- Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. Hydraulic Clutch System Bleeding
- Perform the clutch pedal position sensor learn procedure. Clutch Pedal Position Learn
