Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    With the aid of an assistant return the front floor console (3) to the vehicle.

  2. Connect all electrical connectors.
  3. Install the front floor console bolts @Instrument Panel (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Install the front floor console bolts @Floor Tunnel (2) and tighten to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

    Install the left and right front floor console side trim panel (1) to the front floor console assembly.

  6. Install the instrument panel lower trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Cadillac) .
  7. Install the right front floor console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Right Side (Cadillac) .
  8. Install the left front floor console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Left Side (Cadillac) .
  9. Install the driver and passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Removal and Installation .
