Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Left Side (Cadillac)

Preliminary Procedure Remove the driver seat. Refer to Front Seat Removal and Installation .
1	Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Procedure Starting from the rear, use a flat bladed plastic trim tool to aid in the removal of the panel from the front floor console assembly. Pull the panel rearward to release the integral hook from the brace assembly. When installing the extension panel, secure the integral hook to the brace first then secure the retainers. Pull on front bottom of panel to insure the hook is engaged. NOTE: Ensure proper engagement of the integral hook on the front floor console extension left side panel. If integral hook is not completely engaged, the front floor console extension left side panel could interfere with the accelerator pedal.

Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left

Procedure

Starting from the rear, use a flat bladed plastic trim tool to aid in the removal of the panel from the front floor console assembly.
Pull the panel rearward to release the integral hook from the brace assembly.
When installing the extension panel, secure the integral hook to the brace first then secure the retainers.
Pull on front bottom of panel to insure the hook is engaged.

NOTE:

Ensure proper engagement of the integral hook on the front floor console extension left side panel. If integral hook is not completely engaged, the front floor console extension left side panel could interfere with the accelerator pedal.
