Removal Procedure

Front Compartment Insulator Replacement - Remove
Remove the drive belt. Refer to Generator and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement .

NOTE:
Install the EN-49979 holder along with the EN-49979-100 pins to the outer hole pattern.

Install the EN-49979 holder (1) in compound with the EN-49979-100 pins and the EN-956-1 extension (2) to counterhold the crankshaft pulley (3).

Remove and DISCARD the 4 crankshaft pulley bolts (2).
Remove the EN-49979 holder and the EN-956-1 extension
Remove the crankshaft pulley (1).
