Removal Procedure

- Remove the engine sight shield. Engine Sight Shield Replacement
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- Remove the catalytic converter. Catalytic Converter Replacement
- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling
- Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Pipe - Remove - Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Pipe Replacement
Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Retainer Spring (2) - Unclip
- Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose (3) @ Turbocharger (1) - Remove
Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)
Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Hollow Screw (2) - Remove
- Remove and DISCARD the gasket. (3) [2x]
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Hollow Screw (1) - Remove
- Remove and DISCARD the gasket. (2) [2x]
Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Turbocharger Heat Shield (2) @ Clamp (3) - Unclip
- Turbocharger Heat Shield (2) - Remove
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Hose Clamp (4) - Loosen
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed Hose (5) @ Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe (3) - Disconnect
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe (3) @ Stud (2) - Remove
- Turbocharger Nut (1) - Remove
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Generator and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement - Remove
Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (3) - Remove [2x]
- Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Stud (4) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor (2) - Position aside
Turbocharger Oil Return Pipe Bolt (2) - Loosen
- Turbocharger Oil Return Pipe Bolt (1) - Remove
Turbocharger Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Lower the vehicle.
Turbocharger Assembly (1) - Remove
- Remove and DISCARD the gasket. (2, 3) [2x]
