Timing Chain Idler Sprocket Removal

EN-51141 Intermediate Drive Gear Fixing Tool
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
- NOTE:
Depending on the crankshaft, two different marks (1) and (3) or none (2) can be located on the crankshaft sprocket.
Mark the crankshaft sprocket align with the timing chain idler sprocket if there is no mark.
Install the EN-51141 fixing tool (1) to the timing chain idler sprocket (2).
Remove the 3 timing chain idler sprocket bolts (1).
- Remove the timing chain idler sprocket bearing plate (2).
- Remove the timing chain idler sprocket (4).
- Remove the gear shaft distributor (3).
NOTE:
If the timing chain idler sprocket is reused, do not remove the EN-51141 fixing tool (5).
