Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Engine Sight Shield - Remove - Engine Sight Shield Replacement
  3. Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover - Remove - Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement
  4. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling

    Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect

  6. Retainer Spring (4) - Remove
  7. Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2) - Remove
  8. Seal (1) - Remove and DISCARD
