Installation Procedure
- Install the brake master cylinder reservoir to the brake master cylinder. Refer to Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement .
Install the brake master cylinder (1) and the brake master cylinder reservoir (2) to the power brake booster (4).
- Install the NEW 2 brake master cylinder nuts (3) to the brake master cylinder (1) and tighten to 23.5 N.m (17 lb ft).
Install the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe (1) to the brake master cylinder (3). Tighten the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe fittings to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Install the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe (2) to the brake master cylinder (3). Tighten the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe fittings to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Connect the brake fluid level indicator switch plug (1) to the brake fluid level indicator switch (2).
- If equipped, install the brake fluid return hose (3) to the brake fluid reservoir (4).
Radiator Surge Tank (1) - Install
- Radiator Surge Tank Clip (2) - Install
- Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement - Install
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Connect
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
