Installation Procedure

  1. Install the steering knuckle assembly (1) to the front suspension strut assembly (2).

  2. Install the front suspension strut bolts (1) and nuts (2) attaching the strut to the knuckle and tighten the nuts (2) to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the front brake rotor splash shield to the steering knuckle. Refer to Front Brake Shield Replacement .
  4. Install the front wheel speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement .
  5. Install the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement .
  6. Connect the wheel drive shaft to the wheel hub. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement .
  7. Connect the control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
  8. Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the strut. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  9. Connect the steering linkage outer tie rod end to the steering knuckle. Refer to Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement .
  10. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  11. Lower the vehicle.
