Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement . Remove the front floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side (Left Hand Drive)Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side (Right Hand Drive) .
1	Mode Valve Actuator Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 1.2 N.m (11 lb in)
2	Mode Valve Actuator Electrical Connector
3	Mode Valve Actuator Procedure After repairs, disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable for auto calibration of the actuator.
