Installation Procedure

  1. Align the crank arm and transmission link rod so that crank arm (1) and link rod (2) are in straight line.
  2. Use a wiper linkage installer or similar tool, install the transmission link rod onto the wiper motor crank arm stud.

  3. Install the windshield wiper motor bolt (1) and tighten bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Install the windshield system module nut (2) and tighten nut to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
  5. Install Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement 
  6. Install Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement 
  7. Install Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement 
  8. Inspect the windshield wiper operation.
