Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Reposition the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
  3. Remove the engine control module. Refer to the Engine Control Module Replacement .
  4. Remove the front heater outlet hose (1). Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement .

  5. Remove the heater inlet hose assembly (2). Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement .
  6. Remove the transmission mount bracket bolt (1) and transmission mount bracket (2).

  7. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor connector (1).

  8. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor (2).
