Heater Outlet Hose Replacement

Preliminary Procedures
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
- Unclip and reposition the heater inlet hose clamp from the water outlet assembly to access to the heater outlet hose clamp at the water outlet assembly.
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- Disengage the brake booster vacuum hose.

NOTE:
Disengage the hose clamps first from the heater core and the thermostat.

Heater Outlet Hose Assembly Procedure
- Disengage the hose clamps from the heater core and thermostat first.
- Disengage the radiator surge tank outlet hose from the 3 way connector.
- Remove the heater outlet hoses as an assembly.
- Detach the heater outlet hoses and clamps form the 3 way connector.
