Rear End Trim Cover Panel

Procedure

Using a small removal tool, carefully apply an upward prying force to each of the four clips on the rear end trim cover panel.
Release the four integral retainers by pulling the panel toward the front of the vehicle, sliding the panel over the cargo hold downs.

NOTE:

If the sheet metal around the holes was deformed during the removal of the rear end trim cover panel, the deformed sections must be flattened as much as possible.
A small hammer and advil, or a flat metal object to place below the holes are recommended for this purpose.
With the flat metal object located below the holes to provide support, carefully tap the deformed metal down until it is flat.
