Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:

For ease of installation, all engine mount bolts should be hand started prior to performing final tightening steps.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install Engine Mount Bolt (1) and tighten [2x] 100 N.m (74 lb ft)

    NOTE:

    Install NEW bolts.

  2. Hand start NEW engine mount engine side bolts (1).
  3. With the mount fasteners hand tighten ed, release the tension from the engine support fixture.
    1. Shake the powertrain vigorously by hand to allow the powertrain to settle.
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  4. tighten the NEW engine mount engine side bolts (1).

    tighten

    1. First Pass:100 N.m (74 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass:60 - 75 degrees - EN-45059  meter

  5. Install Engine Mount Brace (2)
  6. Engine Mount Brace Bolt (2) and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  7. Remove Engine Support Fixture -Engine Support Fixture 
  8. Install Air Cleaner Assembly - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  9. Install Intake Manifold Cover - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
