Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Actuator Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the driver or passenger seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation . Remove the driver or passenger seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement .
1	Push on Nut NOTE: Cut off to remove and replace with new nut.
2	Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Cross Bar Procedure Clamp the lower seat back frame so that the seat back does not move while replacing the recliner actuator. Using a hammer and brass punch tap the bar out far enough to release from the recliner actuator motor.
3	Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Actuator Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution Tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)
4	Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Actuator Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector.
