Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Coolant Pipe
Procedure
- Install the drive motor power inverter module coolant pipe and bolts. Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Clamp GE-48494
adapter kit components to the coolant outlet pipe.
- Plug the coolant inlet pipe with the GE-48494
adapter kit plug and clamp.
- Apply 20 psi (138 kPa) pressure with J-24460-01
pressure tester.
- Monitor the pressure tester gauge for 5 minutes and ensure that pressure remains at the specified value.
- If the specified pressure cannot be maintained, check the coolant hose and connections for leaks. If the coolant hose and connections check good, remove the drive motor power inverter module and replace the fluid seal.
- If pressure remains at the specified value, proceed to the next step.
- Remove all GE-48494
adapter kit components.
