Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE: For ease of installation, all engine mount bolts should be hand started prior to performing final tightening steps.

Position the engine mount (2) then hand start the NEW bolts (1).

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

CAUTION: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

NOTE: Install NEW bolts.

Tighten
1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2. Final Pass: an additional 60-75 degrees using EN 45059 Angle Meter
Hand start NEW engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1).

NOTE: Install NEW bolts.
With the mount fasteners hand tightened, release the tension from the engine support fixture.
1. Shake the powertrain vigorously by hand to allow the powertrain to settle.
Tighten the NEW engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1).
Tighten
1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2. Final Pass: an additional 60-75 degrees using EN 45059 Angle Meter

Engine Mount Brace Nut (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Engine Mount Brace Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Engine Support Fixture - Remove
Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement - Install
Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Install
