Rear Seat Latch Cable Synchronization

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Removal and Installation (60/40 Bench) Rear Seat Removal and Installation (Bucket) .
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (40%) Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Bucket) Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (60%) .
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Bucket) Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (60/40 Bench) .
1 Rear Seat Latch Cable (Routing Steps)

Procedure

  1. Attached cable to outboard recliner.
  2. Route and attach to inboard recliner.
  3. Close cable adjuster in place.
2 Rear Seat Latch Cable (Cable Sync Steps)

Procedure

  1. Fold the seat back over in the closed position.
  2. Un-sync cable.
  3. Pull up with 2 hands on both sides of center clip.
  4. Lift the seat back to the upright locked position.
  5. Re-sync cable while leaving the cable in it's routed position, push clip down to sync.
