Preliminary Procedures Remove the control lever boot. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Boot Replacement . Remove floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement .
1	Transmission Control Fastener (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the clips on the wiring harness and disconnect the shift control electrical connector Disconnect the shift control cable. Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

Transmission Control Fastener (Qty: 4)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Remove the clips on the wiring harness and disconnect the shift control electrical connector
Disconnect the shift control cable.

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)
