Preliminary Procedures Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) and Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LKW) . Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement (LKW) . Reposition the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement (LKW) .
