Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor fastener. Refer to Front Seat Belt Retractor Replacement .
  3. Remove the center pillar center trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Center Trim Panel Replacement .
1 Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Fastener (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2 Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Assembly

Procedure

  1. Tilt the base of the center pillar upper trim panel away from the center pillar to disengage the locating pin.
  2. Lower the center pillar upper trim panel down and away from the roof panel trim until the integral tabs have disengaged from the roof panel datum holes.
  3. Thread the seat belt through the center pillar upper trim panel.
