Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  2. Remove the radiator air upper baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Left Side)Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Right Side) .
  3. Remove the windshield washer filler tube. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Replacement .
1 Radiator Baffle Retainer (Qty: 2)
2 Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 6)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
3 Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 2)
NOTE:

These two impact bar retaining bolts are accessed from underneath the vehicle and from the engine side.


Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
4 Front Bumper Impact Bar
  1. Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose. Refer to Windshield Washer Pump Hose Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the windshield washer pump.
  3. Remove the windshield washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .
  4. Transfer parts as needed.
