Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

1. Open and support the hood assembly.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly to gain needed access. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
3. Place a clean suitable container under the front of the vehicle to contain lost windshield washer solvent when servicing the windshield washer container filler tube.

Procedure

1. Hold the windshield washer solvent container bracket stationary with one hand.
2. Pull rearward, the windshield washer solvent container filler tube to disengage from the washer container filler tube bracket.
3. Transfer the windshield washer container filler tube cap.
4. Inspect and replace damaged O-rings on the filler tube bracket, if needed.
5. Upon assembly, use full strength windshield washer solvent fluid on the O-rings when pushing the filler tube onto the washer container filler tube bracket.
