Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the charge air cooler air inlet hose (3, 5) to the charge air cooler (1) and fasten clamp (2).

    1. Install the charge air cooler inlet air hose bend (3) to the charge air cooler (1).
    2. Install and reposition the charge air cooler inlet air hose (5) to the bend (3).
    3. Reposition and tighten the charge air cooler clamp (4).
      CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install a NEW charge air cooler inlet air hose gasket (2).

  3. Install the charge air cooler inlet air hose (4) to the turbocharger (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the charge air temperature sensor - charge air cooler inlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Temperature Sensor Replacement - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe .
  5. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
  6. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  7. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
